On 24 March, GWC held its first combined graduation and matriculation service at St James Church, Kenilworth, Cape Town. The special occasion saw 6 Higher Certificate in Theology, 16 Bachelor of Theology, 8 Honours, 3 Masters and 198 Explore students graduate (some in absentia), while new students were welcomed into the College by signing the matriculation book. Graduands were congratulated on the perseverance and dedication that brought them to such a proud moment, and Dr Mawonga Celesi, Explore Executive, reminded them to go out and share the story of God’s love as Jesus did, in his speaker address on John 3:16-17.
