There are many families who have fled the unrest in South Sudan to take up residence in refugee camps in Uganda. In these camps the provision of shelter and food is inadequate and life is tough with the most vulnerable people being among the elderly and children. Second year GWC student, Bonga Ronyo, who is from South Sudan, is blessed that his family are able to live in private accommodation in Kampala.
“There are many pastors who are engaged with the refugees in Uganda, giving people hope and preaching the gospel. Despite their hardships people are receptive to the gospel.” says Bonga.
“Please pray that my people should not lose hope. God is with them. I pray that one day they will be in a position to return home.”
