Community Life
In its short history GWC has also received students from Namibia, Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Malawi, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Cameroon, Uganda, Kenya, Congo, the Gambia, Nigeria, Sudan, Ethiopia, UK, Germany, Canada, Chile, Norway, USA, Bermuda and Australia.
GWC is the training college for the Reformed Evangelical Anglican Church of South Africa (REACH SA) so about half its students come from this denomination.
Weekly fellowship groups provide an opportunity to get to know one another. Each group has its own chaplain.
The SRC organises social activities for the students. Table tennis, football and hiking are popular and happen regularly through the year.
During their time at GWC students are placed in local churches and engage in ministry and fellowship within the local communities.
